Jeanne shares her 20+ years of Training, Sales and Marketing, Operations and Human Resources experience in the Hospitality industry.
Over 31,000 hospitality professionals have received the benefit of her expertise and learned practical skills through her consulting or training sessions. Her career has included many years of accomplishments in a variety of hotels from coast to coast and corporate positions with several Hospitality Management companies. From a position as Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing for a hotel company with 45 full service hotels, she discovered her passion for training in 1991 as a Regional Training Manager for Cendant (now Wyndham Hotel Group) Corporation. Jeanne put her enthusiasm and energy to work as Corporate Director of Training & Development for two companies with 1500 employees each. She has been on the faculty of the University of South Carolina’s Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management School. Choice Hotels International has asked her to speak at their international convention eight times, teach at regional meetings and to develop and deliver their new multi-day Sales and Marketing workshop. Jeanne earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Barry University (Miami, FL), with graduate work at Oklahoma City University. Her professional certifications include Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and Accredited Certification Instructor (ACI) from the American Hotel & Lodging Association (she loves to coach General Managers to achieve their own CHA). She’s also earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Society of Human Resource Management and Professional Dynametric Programs®(Behavioral Assessment). Jeanne is a graduate of the Ritz Carlton Leadership Center, Summit Consultants’ Facilitation Skills workshop and a career of industry conference sessions. She is a member of the National Speakers Association.
